i never thought i’d get a jacket this colour, but i totally love it. the colour is just so different from what i’d normally wear. i require long black leather gloves though. stat.

i also just made a vow to wear more clothes that i’ve made. i don’t know why i don’t. a mad woman i am. anyways, i didn’t make this tshirt [bonds did] but i did embellish it by sewing hand printed on silk pictures of my mum when she was young. i like it. what do you think?

outfit: editor in chic coat from modcloth, sportsgirl cardigan, purple gloves from ebay, dear mary tshirt by me.

That cardi is lahvlahvlahv! :D And yessss in the summer heat, neutrals are a must. Most of my wardrobe is black, but JUST got back from shopping and I don’t think I got a single black piece of clothing! 0:

thanks ladies! i’ll promise to put more of the things i’ve made in the future!

@jana i sourced this printable silk from the internet, where you can print it on a home printer… it’s not too bad. so i just printed a whole range of old pics and then sewed them onto the tshirt. i’m definitely planning on doing more with the fabric!

LOVE the tshirt. Going to have to find that.

If you’re still looking for long black gloves – country road had the softest elbow length suede gloves on sale a week or two ago, and knowing Adelaide they’ll still be there :)

I am loving the jacket. It’s so voluminous and the sleeves are so interesting!
Good one for making the top yourself, it’s so personal – I love the idea and the execution is perfect.
    PS: Nice layering!
